Sunday's Results

Kelsey's team, Orlando No Fear - Red, lost to Jacksonville Storm. They played hard, but just couldn't get things to go their way. Keep playing hard Red team!

Mackenzie's
team, Orlando No Fear - Black, won their third straight championship. The first game was against Jacksonville Limit. Haines City pitched the first two innings and then Mackenzie came in to finish the game out with a 11-1 victory. The second game was tough. They played Team Florida and the game was 0-0 after seven innings! The game went into a tie breaker, and No Fear scored three runs in the top of the 8th. A key double play by Beck helped seal-the-deal and pull another victory for No Fear - Black. The team then advanced to the Championship game againt NFGS Thunder. The game went 0-0 until the sixth inning. No Fear was home team and held the Thunder from scoring in the seventh. No Fear was at the top of their batting order and Maddie was able to get on. Elysse sacrificed a bunt to advance Maddie to second. Chrystal was able to get a single and move Maddie to third. Chrystal stole second. One out, runners at third and second, and Courtney was able to get in the winning run with a base hit.

Marshall's team, Best 9, lost to the West Volusia Attack, but tied for third overall. The team fought to the end. West Volusia was up 2 runs and in the 5th inning, Marshall was able to start a rally be getting a single with one out. The team was then able to get more batters on base and ended up scoring two runs with two outs to tie up the game. Unfortunately, the team could not score any more runs and lost 3-2 due to a passed ball at the plate in the last inning.

Harrison
had a great day being with Mom at all of the girl's games and played at the park. He enjoyed time with Kyle and Brandon . They got to swing on vines, play by a creek, and run through the natuture trail. He listened very well and checked in periodically so Mom wouldn't have to worry.

Dad has to go back to work so that he can get some rest!

New addition to the family

The Johnsonclan has a new addition to the family - Teddy! Grandma Gostinger bred her poodle Ginger. Two puppies, Teddy (male) and Lilo (female) were born. Teddy and Lilo are cockapoos. They are extremely cute and look like twins. The Johnson kids are happy to have a new puppy in the house.

The Girls Give to Locks of Love

Kelsey and Mackenzie have wanted to get their hair cut, but dad has limited them to just 1 - 3 inches here and there. Well they asked dad if they could donate their hair to Locks of Love. How could he say no to such a sacrifice.

Mackenzie donated 10 1/2 inches and Kelsey donated 11 inches of hair. Two recipients will be very fortunate to have such beautiful hair.

Marshall makes 1st Team ALL AMERICAN!

Unbelievable! Marshall has got to be the luckiest kid I have ever known.

Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids compete for Academic All-American status. The process begins at the association level and up through each of the eight Pop Warner regions to the national level. In 2004, approximately 380,000 kids participated in Pop Warner. 276 First Team members, over 4,200 Second Team members and 900 Honorable Mention scholars were named as Academic All-Americans at the National Level for 2004-2005.

The PWLS All-American Program requires a minimum 96% grade point average to apply for All-American status. After the applications have been processed, Pop Warner determines National First Team All-Americans (35 football, 25 cheer per grade), National Second Team All-Americans and National Honorable Mention Scholars.

Marshall is one of 35 to make 1st Team All-American.
